About

Welcome to my little corner of the internet. I am Banana Bonanza, a bit of a huge nerd who spends way too much time overthinking every little thing. Whether you stumbled across this page as someone I know in real life or from the Star Subculture group, I welcome you here! Feel free to hang out and see what weird new hobbies I've been up to!

Current Goals

My current goals for life and this website are best summed up with three main categories:

  • Earth Care
  • People Care
  • Fair Share

If those look familiar, then you are also into the permaculture movement. Depending on where exactly you meet me I may make myself seem less permaculture minded due to external pressures at work and the list. Despite this, I am an adamant proponent of living more sustainably on this one planet that we have. Within those three categories I have some personal goals:

  • Earth Care
    • Start a garden and harvest my first crop
    • Build a rain-water collection system
    • Begin building a collection of vegan recipes I actually enjoy
    • Buy and install a rear-cart (and/or front basket) for my bicycle.
  • People Care
    • Get HAM radio certified and join the Amateur Radio Emergency Service (ARES)
    • Do more community outreach through tabletop role playing games
    • Write and/or perform music for those in need of joy in their lives
  • Fair Share
    • Participate in community and union events to affect change in our society.
    • I probably won't blog too much about these things

I'll be updating this list as I complete things as well! The current completed goals are:

  • Build a planter box and plant my first seeds
  • Get the HAM radio handbook and begin studying to take the first exam
  • Bike to ALDIs

Thank you for joining me on these journeys and may there be many many blog posts for you to read!
